Tovtry faithful receive and house a group of children from Voznesensk
Parishioners of a church in the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna Eparchy received a group of children evacuated from Mykolaiv region.
The Orthodox community of the village of Tovtry in the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna Eparchy of the UOC helped accommodate children from the city of Voznesensk in Mykolaiv region. This was reported by the Pershyi Kozatskyi Telegram channel, citing the eparchy’s press service.
At the same time, the eparchial humanitarian center collected aid for those affected by the war in Mykolaiv region, but for a long time there were no volunteers able to deliver the supplies to those in need.
“But the Lord Himself arranged everything: three brave men who brought the children to Bukovyna to save them from the war agreed to take a humanitarian cargo back to Mykolaiv region – canned food, hygiene products, diapers, and other essential items,” the eparchy said.
Earlier, it was reported that the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna Eparchy of the UOC had sent humanitarian aid to refugees in Lviv and Poltava.
