The injured enlistment officers had to call an ambulance.

On June 5, 2025, six unidentified individuals assaulted officers from the Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC) at a rehabilitation center run by a religious community in the village of Zoziv, Rivne Region, according to the press service of the Rivne Regional TRC. The victims required emergency medical assistance and sustained injuries of varying severity.

The report states that the incident occurred “during the verification of military registration data of citizens of conscription age.”

The TRC did not specify the denomination of the church, but the YouControl database lists only one religious organization registered in Zoziv: “The Good Samaritan,” affiliated with the Evangelical Christian community. This church indeed operates a rehabilitation center.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that TRC personnel had detained Archimandrite Paphnutiy, abbot of the Holy Spirit Skete of the Pochaiv Lavra, in Kremenets. After his abduction, he was transferred to a military unit in the Rivne Region.
