St. Michael's UOC Church in Pokrovsk hit by shelling once again

The blast wave blew out the doors and window panes and damaged the church walls.
As a result of shelling in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church’s Church of the Archangel Michael once again sustained damage. This was reported on May 13, 2025, by the Telegram channel of the Pokrovsk Vicariate.
"Shelling in Pokrovsk has once again damaged the Church of the Archangel Michael – a shrine that has already endured more than one enemy attack," the statement read.
Photos published show that the blast wave shattered doors and windows and damaged the church walls.
As the UOJ previously reported, the Church of the Archangel Michael in Pokrovsk was also damaged by shelling on December 21, 2024, and again in April of this year.
