Schemarchim. Seraphim (Bit-Kharibi) performs at UOC parish in Cologne

A choir from Georgia performed Easter hymns in various languages, including Aramaic, the language spoken by Christ.
On May 7, 2025, an Easter concert was held at the UOC parish of the Pochaiv Icon of the Mother of God in the German city of Cologne. Schema-Archimandrite Seraphim (Bit-Kharibi) and his choir took part in the event, reports the UOC Department for External Church Relations (DECR).
The concert was held with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine.
The choir, led by Schema-Archimandrite Seraphim, the abbot of the Georgian Monastery of the Thirteen Assyrian Fathers, performed Easter and other liturgical hymns in Aramaic and Georgian.
The event was attended by Orthodox Ukrainians from various cities in Germany, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.
At the end of the concert, Father Seraphim thanked the UOC parish for their warm welcome and emphasized the importance of spiritual support and the preservation of faith, especially while living abroad.
As previously reported by the UOJ, a priest of the UOC co-served with a Metropolitan of the Bulgarian Church in Hamburg.
