In vlg. Khmeliv, Metropolitan Mark of Khust consecrates altar in UOC temple

The hierarch of the UOC congratulated the parishioners on their patronal feast and wished everyone strong faith.

On May 6, 2025, the Feast of St. George the Victorious, Metropolitan Mark of Khust and Vinohradiv consecrated the altar and celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the St. George Church of the UOC in the village of Khmeliv, Rakhiv district, Zakarpattia. This was reported by the press service of the Khust Eparchy.

During the service, prayers were offered for Ukraine and its soldiers.

After the Liturgy, the hierarch congratulated the parishioners on their patronal feast and wished them strong faith, spiritual strength, and God's protection.

As reported by the UOJ, a centennial anniversary of the Nativity of the Mother of God Monastery of the UOC was celebrated in Lypcha.
