Ascension Church in Novopavlivka destroyed by shelling

The church was destroyed by an air bomb strike.
On May 3, 2025, the Ascension Church in the village of Novopavlivka, Dnipropetrovsk region, was destroyed by a Russian air bomb, according to the local news outlet Mezhivsky Meridian.
Only the walls of the church remain; the dome and roof were completely demolished.
The Ascension Church was built over 150 years ago. During the Soviet era, it was converted into a dairy factory. Around 15 years ago, it was restored and religious services resumed.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that the St. Nicholas Church of the UOC in Novopavlivka had also been damaged by shelling.
