Another court hearing held in Cherkasy over Metropolitan Theodosiy's case

The prosecution continued citing materials from the Pravoslavie.ru website, which were never published on the website of the Cherkasy Eparchy.
On February 27, 2025, another hearing in the case of Metropolitan Theodosiy of Cherkasy and Kaniv took place at the Sosnivka District Court in Cherkasy, Suspilne reports.
The metropolitan joined the session online.
It was noted that the court continued reviewing publications from the diocese’s website.
Prosecutor Vadym Kolomiiets read out and displayed archived materials from the Russian-language version of the Cherkasy Eparchy’s website.
Journalists reported that the prosecution had examined the Cherkasy Eparchy’s website through a hyperlink found on Pravoslavie.ru.
In response to the accusations, Metropolitan Theodosiy stated that "the materials read by the prosecutor were never posted on the Cherkasy Eparchy’s website."
The bishop’s defense attorney, lawyer Volodymyr Yudin, insisted during the hearing that the prosecutor specify the original source of the materials and called the expert conclusions regarding the materials biased.
The next hearing is scheduled for March 18 at 9:20 AM, during which the review of case materials will continue.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that Metropolitan Theodosiy explained why the persecution of the Church began and when it might end.
