National Unity Minister reveals how many Ukrainians will return from abroad

Chernyshov believes that 30% of Ukrainians will return home after the war.
At the event “War 2025: Weapons, People, Money,” Minister of National Unity Oleksii Chernyshov stated that just over a quarter of all emigrants are expected to return to Ukraine after the war ends, Ekonomichna Pravda reports.
“Once Ukraine achieves security measures and stability in the country, we expect that 30% of Ukrainians will return and will seriously consider coming back,” Chernyshov said.
According to him, “this is not a catastrophe, it is something that needs to be acknowledged.”
He also mentioned that the government is developing models to facilitate the return of Ukrainians. “We expect this to happen this year,” Chernyshov noted, referring to the introduction of such initiatives.
Additionally, the minister stated that in order to rebuild the country and restore pre-war GDP levels, up to 4.2 million repatriates need to return.
Previously, the UOJ reported that, according to experts, Ukraine’s demographic situation is a national catastrophe.
