On Candlemas, UOC believers pray near the church seized by OCU in Vyshhorod

Orthodox Christians have been praying this way for over a year.
On February 15, the Feast of the Meeting of the Lord, the persecuted parish of Saints Boris and Gleb of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) in Vyshhorod prayed near the walls of their church, which was brutally seized by OCU raiders in the fall of 2023, the Dozor_kozal1 Telegram channel reported.
As journalists emphasize, Orthodox Christians have been praying this way for over a year, while their sacred church remains empty and in decline.
"But the Lord does not abandon His faithful. And the flame of their prayer continues to burn despite everything," the message states.
As previously reported by UOJ, the persecuted UOC parish in Vyshhorod celebrated its patronal feast in a garage.
Earlier, a video surfaced online showing an OCU 'service' in a half-empty church seized in Vyshhorod.
