Ukrposhta announces new Christmas stamp
The stamp will be released on December 24.
For the Christmas holidays, "Ukrposhta" announced the release of a new stamp "Nova radist stala" (“A new joy has come”), reported the organization. The stamp features a vytynanka reflecting the traditions of celebrating Christmas: caroling girls with the Bethlehem star, magi with gifts, mummers with a "Goat," and Ukrainian warriors.
"In 1991, after many years of bans in the USSR, the carol 'Nova radist stala' was heard again on Sofia Square in Kyiv, returning Christmas to the Ukrainian people. Today, despite the war, thanks to the Defense Forces, Christmas will come to our homes again," noted "Ukrposhta."
The stamp will be released on December 24. The postal block includes five stamps: "Carolers," "Magi," "Nativity of Christ," "Christmas Nativity Scene," and "Ukrainian Warriors."
Pre-order is already open on the "Ukrposhta" website, and from December 24, the stamp can be purchased both online and in post offices and specialized stores.
As reported by the UOJ, Ukrposhta released the stamp "Letter to Saint Nicholas".
