The school will operate at the St. Nicholas Cathedral of the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy.

On November 23, 2024, on the 89th anniversary of the late Metropolitan Volodymyr (Sabodan), a Sunday school was solemnly opened and consecrated at the St. Nicholas Cathedral in Khmelnytskyi. This was reported by the press service of the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy.

The premises where the children will study were consecrated by Metropolitan Viktor of Khmelnytskyi and Starokostiantyniv.

"The Sunday school was named in honor of the ever-memorable Metropolitan Volodymyr, who was a native of the Khmelnytskyi region, visited the city of Khmelnytskyi many times, and personally cared for the church life in the Podolian land for many years," the message says.

Metropolitan Viktor wished the future students success in their studies and gave them gifts, as well as awarded benefactors with the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy orders "Protection of the Holy Theotokos".

As reported by the UOJ, at the Lavra, the UOC clergy served a lity on the grave of Metropolitan Volodymyr.
