Moshkov community of UOC begins raising new church instead of the seized
The UOC community in the village of Moshkov has found an opportunity to build a new church instead of the one seized by OCU members in 2018.
The community of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. Michael’s Church in the village of Moshkov, Rivne Eparchy, has begun the construction of a new temple to replace the previous one seized by supporters of the OCU, reports the Favor charity foundation on its Telegram page.
At first, the believers prayed in the open air in a stretched tent. Over time, with God's help, they managed to find a rural house, in which services are temporarily held. One of the rooms of the house is equipped as the altar, and in the other the believers pray. The community managed to start building on its own. For today, the foundation of the future church has already been made. The walls will be erected before the summer.
In April 2020, the Favor Foundation purchased and handed over materials for the construction of the roof. The organization continues to fundraise for the purchase of temple windows. The required amount is 90,000 UAH. Donations can be made on the foundation's website, or on the Privatbank card: 5169 3305 3004 7445 marked "MOSHKOV".
Ранее религиозная община УПЦ с. Заболотье собралась на богослужение, несмотря на то, что их церковь и вообще вся территория храма находится вне зоны доступа.
