The draft law providing for the ban of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church will be considered at the Rada session as a matter of priority.
On 19 October 2023, the Verkhovna Rada will consider as a priority bill No 8371 on banning the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, according to a source in the Parliament.
He noted that initially the draft law on the ban of the UOC was one of the last on the agenda, but now, according to the source, it will be considered one of the first.
Previously, Nikita Poturaev called to put pressure on MPs to force them to ban the UOC.
As reported, the head of the “Servant of the People” faction said that the Rada should consider more important bills than banning the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
