Pat Bartholomew, Pope and head of Anglicans hold ecumenical prayer in Rome

The ecumenical prayer was timed to the 16th Synod of Catholic Bishops.
On 30 September 2023, Patriarch Bartholomew, Pope Francis, Archbishop Justin Welby of Canterbury, along with representatives of other Christian denominations, participated in an ecumenical prayer in St. Peter's Square of Vatican, reports orthodoxianewsagency.gr.
The ecumenical prayer, organised by the French monastic community of Taizé and attended by thirty thousand young people, was timed to the 16th Synod of Catholic Bishops, which will last throughout October and will be dedicated to the theme: "Towards a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation, Mission".
Earlier, the head of the Phanar prayed with Catholic monks in an RCC monastery in Hungary.
