Bishop Irinej of Backa, who participated in in the Council on Crete as a member of the Serbian Orthodox Church delegation, said that the majority of the bishops who were part of the delegation did not sign the text of the document on the attitude of the Orthodox Church to the non-Orthodox denominations, reports Agionoros.

According to Bishop Irinej, the Crete Council will hardly go down in history as "the Holy and Great", apparently it will be considered as "a provincial assembly of participating in it churches."
