Winner of “Ukraine has got talent” show made sand animation of St. Paraskeva monastery (VIDEO)
Crimean artist Kseniya Simonova released an animation film “Saint Paraskeva Monastery” about Toplovsky Holy Trinity Saint Paraskeva nunnery. It is reported by the Synodal Department for Youth Affairs of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
“After my victory in “Ukraine has got talent” show we began to visit Toplovsky monastery with my son Dima, and now – with our little son Serafim. This is a very grace-filled place to be visited by all means! The monastery’s history is rather interesting – it can serve as a plot for the entire film! Perhaps, my frugal work is just a beginning of something greater, told Kseniya Simonova.
The Crimean artist shared that being a student she lived in this holy place for a week. According to her, it was one of the best weeks in her life. The film made in sand animation genre is dedicated to the history and sanctities of the monastery.
It will be reminded that Toplovsky nunnery is located in Topolevka village of Belogorsk district of the Crimea. This place is widely known: it attracts annually thousands of pilgrims from all over the world.
