Conference on family values protection takes place under the auspices of UOC
On May 31, 2016, with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine Onufriy All-Ukrainian conference "Protection of Family Morality – Civilizational Challenge of the XXI Century" was held at the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. The forum was organized by the Synodal Department of the UOC for Family Affairs, reports a correspondent of the UOJ.
The conference was attended by over 80 representatives from many regions of Ukraine.
During the conference the participants discussed issues of family traditions, psychological stability of family relations, dynamics of family development, medical aspects of motherhood and childhood, the factor of family values and others.
We recall that on May 30 the Ukrainian conference of the Synodal Department of the UOC for Youth started in the Kherson diocese of the UOC.
