This is what "dialogue" from the OCU looks like. One hand signs "Appeals" for brootherhood, the other blesses people with angle grinders.

On February 2, the Synod of the OCU appealed to the UOC with a call "for constructive dialogue" and even created a special commission for contacts with the UOC for the sake of "unity and fraternal peace."

What happened in the following 2 weeks? Perhaps Dumenko was offered to return at least some of the seized churches and apologize? Maybe there were appeals from the OCU to the authorities calling not to take away the UOC's historic churches?

No. We saw the following actions.

February 9, a seizure of the Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God in Kuzmyn, Khmelnytskyi region. February 12, the Cherkasy eparchy of the OCU reported the seizure of the UOC's archiepiscopal metochion in the city, citing a fabricated "assembly" of a non-existent community of the Church of the Nativity of Christ.

February 14, a group of radicals in hoods and balaclavas took over the Kyiv UOC Church of the Martyr John the Warrior, traditionally cutting through the doors with an angle grinder.
Now "Metropolitan of Donetsk" Serhiy Horobtsov is in charge there, simultaneously trying to smear its real owners. He publishes photos of bottles from Cahors wine used for communion, trying to portray UOC priests as almost alcoholics: "This is something like modern installation art: 'empty bottles as a path to enlightenment.'"

It was Serhiy Dumenko who blessed Horobtsov for the church seizure. The same one who signed the "Appeal" about dialogue with the UOC. Does this look like actions to achieve "unity and fraternal peace"?

Imagine that a neighbor who has been causing you all kinds of trouble for years suddenly comes with an offer of friendship and love. And the very next night sets fire to your door and throws filth into your yard. And with all this, with an imperturbable appearance, he pretends that his assurances of friendship are still in force.

This is exactly what the "dialogue" from the OCU looks like. One hand signs "Appeals" about brotherhood, the other blesses people with angle grinders.

"S" stands for sincerity.
