UOC priests from Volyn detained at training ground in Chernihiv region, media
Two clerics of the UOC were abducted and forcibly taken to the training ground by TRC employees.
At the training ground in the Chernihiv region, where a student of the Kyiv Theological Schools, Pavlo Vasylevsky, was sent, UOC clerics from the Volyn region are being held. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Pershyi Kozatskyi", citing its own sources.
It is noted that the priests were abducted by TRC employees in Volyn and forcibly taken to the training ground.
According to journalists, the rector of the Apostle Luke parish, Fr. Anatoliy Demyanchuk, is being held at the training ground. "The clergyman and his community experienced the seizure of their shrine by OCU raiders. Fr. Anatoliy is the father of 5 children, but most of them are adults. The priest had to work in the city of Rozhyshche. There he was abducted by TRC employees on June 25," the message says.
On the same day, Father Vasyl Ivin, a cleric of the Church of All Saints of the Volyn Land of the UOC in the city of Lutsk, was abducted. The clergyman was on his way to a service when he was illegally detained by the TRC.
As reported by the UOJ, Metropolitan Longin called the mobilization of priests a disgrace and lawlessness.
